This is a piece on MSNBC where they compare Sarah Palin's interview with Katie Couric with the parody of it on SNL this past Saturday:

The part where she wants a life line was fake, however, the followup interview included Sarah Palin sitting by John McCain, so maybe the McCain campaign is picking up suggestions from watching SNL.
