For me, that was one of those really tragic moments--realizing that John Lennon, who was in a bit of a comeback in his career, had been gunned down and was no longer with us.

I don't think that any of us could know if he'd still be alive today. Poor George is no longer with us either.

The music of the four Beatles will endure.
