A judge ruled California Prop 8 unconstitutional today.  Pretty big news.

The last that I heard from MyLastView, he was trying to get people to vote against it.  This was Nov 2008.  Interesting if you know the story.

I was freaking out yesterday when I heard this news! I wrote about it on facebook. SO THRILLED!!! Smiley This is a huge breakthrough in the LGBTQ community! Being as excited as I was yesterday, I can't imagine the excitement that must have occurred in California! 'Cause whenever it was passed last year, I really didn't expect anything else to happen afterward.

I've been really bummed that everytime it has come up for a vote, it has been rejected.  I hoped that the residents of some states would take a stand.

Didn't happen in Maine.

The chilling thing in California was the idea that the majority of voters could remove the rights of a minority that it seemed to have personal problems with.  #FAIL.

Gay marriage will certainly improve divorce statistics.

And by this I mean that it's crazy how some people seek to defend the sanctity of marriage when it ends in divorce half the time.
