Thought I would start a thread about future Liz tour dates , a place where posters can list upcoming tour dates for Liz as they are announced.  Maybe even use this thread to post concert reviews from people who attend these shows.  Now I'll post a rumor I read on Twitter this afternoon regarding a future Liz show.  I haven't found anything that confirms this show but I'll pass along this rumor is case anyone can confirm it.  Liz show at the Belly Up Tavern, Solana Beach CA. ( San Diego) October 5th, 2010.  Maybe this show along with many others will be listed on Liz's site soon.  Just hope she gets near the Rockies for a show.  Denver would work.  Got to see this woman live at least once before she retires.  Smiley  Ooops!  There already was a thread for her Funstyle tour dates.  Should have checked the posted topics better. xray: according to Liz, she thinks the location / date you mentioned is one of her stops (although she couldn't confirm it).

In other words, Liz will be annoucing tour dates this week!  Smiley

And Liz asks: "I have a question for fans: what are the top 10 most popular songs live?? Trying to make a set list... Please let me know!"

ANYTHING!!!! off Of Exile, WS, or WCSE. Would kill to hear Down and Don't Have Time!! Would like to hear full band versions of Jeremy Engle and And He Slayed Her.  Why I Lie, Giving It All To You, and Everything (Between Us) off of SM.  I would love to hear live versions of Smoke, My My, Oh, Bangladesh, Bang, Bang, and Satisfied off of Funstyle.  Although I did not absolutely hate LP, I've seen so many YouTube videos of Liz playing songs from that album that I believe I've heard them all.  Doubt she could pull it off, but Beat Is Up would be HILARIOUS  live.  It'd be a kick in the ass hearing someone pull off the guru and Liz doing the soccer mom part.  Accent and all!!  Cheesy  You Hate It would be a kick in the ass as well.  "I hated it.......as..well."  ROTFFL!!  P.S. If possible,  reassemble the same band you put together for the Exile Anniversary Tour.  That was a tight bunch.

Liz Phair concert dates.  http://pollstar.net/resultsArtist.aspx?ID=37968&SortBy=Date  Looks like a west coast tour only. ( So far )  Heres a blurb on the tour from Pollstar.  http://www.pollstar.com/blogs/news/archive/2010/08/31/738176.aspx  HOLY SHIT!!! There will be a second CD released with the physical release of Funstyle that includes Girlysound demos predating Exile.  Although I believe I have all of the Girlysound demos available from this site and they are the best quality found ANYWHERE,  the  quality may be even better with this release . October 19th.  I'll be buying it.

So cool that some Girlysound material is going to see a release, here's to hoping that all 3 "albums" wind up getting released.  I really like most of the tracks that have circulated by fans and it was exciting when the two tapes resurfaced after all those years a little while back and even more exciting when Henderson was talking about having all of the materials in good shape.  I've been wanting to hear this material for almost 20 years so seeing a report about the release of at least some of it is exciting to say the least.

GREAT tour photo!!   Wonder if she'll use this as her new background image on her site?    http://www.ticketmaster.com/Liz-Phair-tickets/artist/763330

Are you asking this through this post? Or should I post this somewhere else?

Anywho, just some ideas:

6'1"
Explain It to Me
Slave (Sometimes a Dream)
Don't Have Time
Beginning to See the Light
Nashville
May Queen
Shane
Polyester Bride
Girls' Room

I realize she's never (?) played "Shane" live before. But it would be cool to hear it. She ought to play it in the Girlysound fashion.

I don't know if "Don't Have Time" has ever been played live before, but I would love to hear it.

I'm sure she'll pepper in some "Funstyle" tracks as well, which would be nice. In which case, I'd suggest "You Should Know Me" "Smoke" "And He Slayed Her" and "My My"

I really hate now that I don't live on the west coast. xD Does anyone know if the tour will be continuing after those dates...maybe in the east coast somewhere? Also, where do you send in the list of ten songs? I have some ideas...

Hey all. Been browsing here for a while and finally decided to post.

So do we know if Liz is adding additional tour dates?
