I am excited for the fan community that we have had West Coast locations in October and that we will have NorthEast coast dates in December.  There's also MidWest dates still to be announced.

Unfortunately, Liz seems to be hitting the same 3 narrow corridors that she hit in 2008:  West Coast, MidWest, and NorthEast.

I'm guessing that MidWest means Chicago and Minneapolis, for sure.  Perhaps other places fairly close to Chicago.

This still leaves a lot of the country Liz-less:  Mountain states (Phoenix, SLC, Denver), Lower MidWest (Kansas City, Oklahoma City, St. Louis), places in between Chicago and NYC, the South, etc.

I mentioned this on the facebook page and someone suggested that Rocket Science may have limits.  The problem with that theory is that Liz was with ATO in 2008 and the choices seem fairly close to one another.

And this doesn't even begin to cover people outside the US.

Anyways, I hope more regions are forthcoming.

From her Pollstar interview:

When will the next batch of dates show up?

I don’t know. We’re working on it right, right now. November, December, January – it’s all going to happen. We’re just coordinating it wisely with other things, to make sure when we go into a marketplace that we can accomplish other things as well. Just stop in at little mom & pop record stores or visit radio stations. Back in the old days you just had more money. There’s no way of getting around the recession in all of this and what’s happening to the record business. You have to be smarter. You have to kill two, three birds with one stone any time you do anything. So that’s what we’re doing here.

As for European dates?  Watch the ustream video of her Esquire House performance (during the Q&A portion) for an idea.

Yep--I'd seen those same comments.  Pretty vague as to how many places that she's planning on hitting.

I'm hopeful, but leaning towards pessimistic.

Well, I guess the January 2011 dates are a much more hopeful sign that more of the US gets to see Liz.

Still, no locations near where girlysound.com is hosted.
