I've been a would-die-for Liz Phair fanatic since 2003. Uh, I can help you with "Combo Platter" and the "Whip-Smart" remix. It's not much, but it's a start. I used to have the clean version of "Supernova" but I thought it was kind of redundant and eventually deleted it from my hard drive (gasp!).

If you search on Google for "Liz Phair Discography torrent", you'll find a torrent with some rare material, including the clean version of "Supernova" and some other rarities. It doesn't have much seeders though, so it might be a little bit too slow to download.

I've got several things you are looking for, Sessions @ W54th, the early versions/alternate takes of Love/Hate,  Red Light Fever and Good Love Never Dies.  I also have the song she did with Minnie Driver, and the Suspicious Minds cover she did with Pete Yorn. I have the Rolling Stone EP, her clip of the GAP commercial, and the bit she did on American Dreams.  If you want a lot of  "rare" or live material, including the entire Star Lounge show, there is loads of stuff on youtube.  You can take almost any youtube video and turn it into an MP3 using this     http://www.video2mp3.net/           I can probably dig up some of the sites I found a lot of my collection at. "Love/Hate Transmission" (live) was a song that I dug way back in 2001 when I first heard it, and when I saw it on the track listing for the self-titled, was really excited for and then summarily disappointed when I heard it. It grew on me after awhile; I like the Alternate Version a smidge more.

All that being said, does anyone know if she ever went into a studio and recorded the song with the original lyrics?  I know asking for a version of it is like asking for the actual Julie Johnson tracks, the entire "Rapids" all rolled up along with "Spoiled Peach", but was at the very least curious if anyone had some sort of answer. When and why did the lyrics change so drastically?
