Concerns about security on GS Forum

I've thought seriously about removing my email address as public information in my profile. I see plenty of evidence that we have lurkers coming in and pulling email, etc. information from our profiles and using it to SPAM our email accounts. I keep on getting the ones with the multi-million dollar sob stories that either involve Nigeria or South Africa. You would think that these bozos would think that it would be fairly stupid for an attorney or accountant to just have a hotmail account.

Anyways, on the main forum, you can leave your email address, but it is NOT public information unless you use the email command, and you have to be a forum member for that.

I'm not saying that we have to implement any changes, but I am aware that there are risks and am open to comments from the others here, including our fearless leader.
